Rise Up Timber, Land, and Cattle is a small family timber and cattle operation located near Pittsburg, Texas. The Murdock family established the operation in 2021 and their family now offers high quality, locally grown, grass fed, Angus/Brahman cross beef to the public.

Jared grew up in rural North Texas and was heavily involved in FFA, raising animals and participating in a variety of leadership and career development events. He went on to graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Engineering and Master’s degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering. Bethany grew up in rural Northeast Texas and her family always had animals and also operated commercial timber farms. Bethany graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering. Jared and Bethany plan to continue their family’s heritage in the agricultural industry and hope to instill the same values, work ethic, and love for the animals and land that their families instilled in them.
